Deployments
OpenAI Responses API (proxy)
Forwards an OpenAI Responses request to the deployment’s serving replica (vLLM’s native /v1/responses, tool calls through the deployment’s --tool-call-parser). Point a Responses client (the OpenAI SDK, the Codex CLI with wire_api = "responses") at /v1/deployments/{id} and use a model access key or workspace key as the bearer; the same route is served at /v1/deployments/{id}/v1/responses for clients that append /v1/responses. Streaming (stream: true) is passed through as SSE. model is rewritten to the deployment’s served name. Token usage is recorded on the deployment’s request log.
